For those who enjoy scale modeling, we’ve compiled a list of shows and activities where you may meet and interact with other scale modelers, as well as try new goods.
Guayaquil Modellfest Equador
Guayaquil Modellfest is the continent’s largest model-making event. There is no charge to attend, and the show will include trade booths, demonstrations, star wars displays, sculptors, exhibits like airsoft displays and club displays, drone exhibits, among other things in 2021. It will be held on June 22 and 23, 2021
Bolton IPMS Scale Model Show
The theme for the 2021 Bolton IPMS Scale Model Show is Made in Britain. The 2021 show will most likely be larger than the previous year’s with more club exhibits and merchants. It will take place on Sunday, January 20, 2021.
Scale Scotland
Scale Scotland is a modelers-only event. It features exhibits for scale model fans and users. There’s something for everyone, from young to old, professional to non-professional. The 2019 show will be held in Edinburgh on Saturday 28th September if you like scale modeling, because it contains everything and anything scale modeling.
Northwest Scale Modellers Show
The Northwest Scale Modelers Show is a large-scale modeling event that includes hundreds of model ships, tanks, automobiles, and aircraft. In addition to scale modeling classes and fantastic free make-and-take activities for all ages, the event also has scale modeling seminars. It appeals to professionals as well as hobbyists.
Wonderfest
The annual celebration of models and movie special effects is now in its 30th year. It occurs every summer in Louisville, Kentucky. There will be film special effects experts, seminars, model displays, and the biggest model contest for horror, sci-fi, and comic-related subjects at this event. The 2021 show will take place again at Crowns.
Modelcon
The first model show will be held at the Chattanooga Convention Center on January 11 and 12, 2021. The show is organized by Chattanooga scale modelers, so you’ll be in good company if you’re an enthusiastic scale modeller.
JAXCON
The first JAXCON was held in 2001. It has since become one of the biggest and most renowned scale modeling exhibitions in the southeastern United States. On February 9, 2021, the University of North Florida’s campus on campus in the university center will stage the next JAXCON.
Scale Modelworld
The International Plastic Model Show (IPMS) is also known as The IPMS(UK) Nationals and is the largest scale model show in the United Kingdom. It takes place at Telford Exhibition Centre, where hundreds of modelers from across the UK, Europe, and North America converge.
